Motorcycle

The Paznaun is an excellent starting point for wonderful motorcycle tours.

For example, the Silvretta High Alpine Road, the Arlberg Pass, the Timmelsjoch, the Kaunertal Glacier, the Furka Pass or the Säntis Runde are among the most spectacular excursion destinations on the motorbike – always garnished with mighty 3,000-metre peaks, glittering lakes, high passes and impressive landscape.

The Silvretta High Alpine Road is considered one of the most beautiful Alpine passes in Tyrol. (2032m, 32 serpentines) Bikers regularly fall in love with the beautiful curves of the Silvretta Pass between Partenen and Galtür.

The Silvretta High Alpine Road is only open in the summer months!

Good to know:

The card costs 49,00 Euro per person /stay. This card also includes all cable cars in Paznauntal and Montafon. If you want to combine this, you should definitely consider the Premium Card.

With motorcycles the crossing costs approx. 13,50 Euro per person.

Opening hours of the Silvretta High Alpine Road:

The Silvretta High Alpine Road is only open to public transport in good weather conditions. This is usually the case from the beginning of June. In winter, the High Alpine Road is completely closed.

Adventure Stages

Near the middle station of the Silvrettabahn you will find the Blackwater Lake and the Pardatschersee.

On both lakes there are playgrounds for children. There is a lot to discover at the lakes and while walking through the woods.

Pine cones, beautiful stones, flowers – your children will surely find one or the other treasure. Watching the fish and anglers is funny.

A boulder wall for climbing, two creatively designed climbing towers, the reed sailor and many other highlights promise plenty of action.

Between all the sporting activities and information stations, which provide you with all kinds of amazing information about the flora and fauna around the mountain lakes, you will also find oases to relax. The quiet fishing grounds at Lake Schwarzwassersee or the cozy barbecue places at Lake Pardatsch are just a small foretaste of it.
An exceptionally varied overall experience full of fun and action for the whole family is guaranteed.

Paznauner Taja:

For family holidays we recommend the following tour: From the mountain station you walk towards Höllboden down to Paznauner Taja. After a delicious meal you continue through Fimbatal to the Adventures Stages. There is time to play and relax. If you want, you can also have a barbecue there. Then it is only a short walk to the middle station of the Silvrettabahn.

The very ambitious can also walk down the valley on the WALK OF LYRIC.

Walk of Lyric

The adventure trail starts down in the valley or at the middle station. In addition to a fascinating landscape, you will also find an adventure trail with world stars of the music industry.

The legendary concerts on the Idalp stage underline the entertainment competence of Ischgl. The international music stars can now also be met in the summer, as Rihanna, Udo Jürgens and Sting can be met again here at different stages.

Far away from the stage – in the woods, at a torrent – the songs of the stars are staged in a new and unique way. The poetry of the song is the focus. The Walk of Lyric is very popular with children, from one attraction to another, it doesn’t take long. You need a little courage for the 2 suspension bridges Kitzloch and Bärenfalle. 70 meters above the Fimbabach on a shaky bridge – Mom and Dad are probably dizzy more. . .

TIPS IN KAPPL

Sunny Mountain

With the Diasbahn you go up comfortably to the spacious children’s playground with slide tower, petting zoo, Kneipp facility and much more. The varied playground in the heart of the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park is a paradise and makes children’s eyes sparkle. And for parents there is a relaxation oasis with deck chairs and beach chairs in the middle of the mountain panorama. You are not dizzy and love the grip of the ground? Even for balancing artists and rope acrobats close to the ground, Sunny Mountain Park has something to offer. The low rope garden is characterized by logs, ropes and bridges that demand skill and concentration from you. In addition, the beautiful surroundings with a view of the Silbersee is an extra bonus for all climbers.

The kids don’t have to miss out on animal fun at the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park. Right next to the Alpine Museum the children can be on you and you with horse, donkey and sheep. In the petting zoo, you can watch the furry mountain dwellers romping around on the meadow, or you can stroke them over their fluffy fur. It is definitely a cuddly adventure! Have you always wanted to know about alpine life in Paznaun? In the Alpine Museum in Kappl you have the opportunity to visit original sites. You can observe the change of alpine life over the centuries. Of course there are also interesting facts about rural life and the cultural history of agriculture.
